Terms and Conditions

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and "you" includes that organization.

The Service

Join Camera enables hosts to create shared photo events and enables guests to join those events, capture a limited number of photos, and view photos according to event settings.

The Service is not a backup service. Keep your own copies of photos that are important to you.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

Accounts and Event Participation

Some features may require an account or sign-in (such as through Apple). You are responsible for the information you provide, including your display name, and for keeping your credentials and invite links secure.

Notify us promptly at raffi.yeghiazaryan@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

Event hosts control certain event settings, including guest limits, photo limits, and when photos are revealed. By joining an event, you agree to participate under those settings.

Permissions and Device Access

Camera access is used only when you capture a photo. Photo library access is used only when you save or select a photo. Push notifications are optional and can be managed in your device or app settings.

You are responsible for any mobile data, messaging, or carrier charges associated with your use of the Service.

User Content

You retain ownership of photos and other content you submit through the Service ("User Content").

By submitting User Content, you grant Join Camera a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, transmit, and distribute that content solely as needed to operate the Service and make it available to participants in the relevant event.

Event Hosts and Participants

If you create or host an event, you control access through invite links or codes and may set visibility, guest limits, and reveal timing. You receive a non-exclusive license to use photos uploaded to your event only for running, viewing, sharing, and exporting that event for personal, event, or internal purposes. Commercial use of a participant's photos requires their permission.

If you join another user's event, you retain ownership of your photos but grant the event host the limited license described above. Your photos may be visible to other participants according to the event settings.

Do not upload content you do not have the right to share.

Purchases and Refunds

Some features may be available through paid offerings. On iOS, payments are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's terms and refund policies. We do not receive your full payment card details.

Except where required by law or where a technical issue we control prevents use of a paid feature, purchases are final. Contact us at raffi.yeghiazaryan@gmail.com within 14 days of purchase with your transaction details if you believe a refund is warranted.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, harassing, abusive, or infringing purposes.
• Upload content that is illegal, sexually exploitative, hateful, deceptive, or that violates another person's privacy or intellectual property rights.
• Upload another person's photos without permission.
• Attempt to access events, accounts, or data without authorization.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by scraping, reverse engineering, or circumventing technical limits except where permitted by law.
• Use bots, scrapers, or unauthorized automation.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Use the Service to send spam or malware.

Content Moderation and Removal

We may review, remove, restrict, or disable access to User Content or accounts that we reasonably believe violate these Terms, applicable law, or the rights of others. We are not obligated to monitor all User Content and have no responsibility for content posted by users.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and underlying technology, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.

Third-Party Services

The Service may rely on or link to third-party services, including cloud hosting, storage, and infrastructure providers. We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies.

Apple App Store

If you download or use the iOS app or App Clip from Apple's App Store, the following additional terms apply:

• These Terms are between you and Join Camera, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
• In the event of any failure of the app to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any, paid for the app; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation.
• Join Camera, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app or your possession or use of it, including product liability, legal compliance, and intellectual property claims.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms as they relate to your use of the iOS app and may enforce these Terms against you.
• For iOS downloads, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If there is a conflict, Apple's EULA controls to the extent required by Apple.

Copyright Complaints (DMCA)

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to raffi.yeghiazaryan@gmail.com with: (1) your contact information; (2) identification of the copyrighted work; (3) the location of the allegedly infringing material; (4) a statement of good-faith belief that the use is not authorized; (5) a statement under penalty of perjury that your notice is accurate and you are the owner or authorized agent; and (6) your physical or electronic signature. We may terminate accounts of repeat infringers.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN DISCLAIMERS; YOU MAY HAVE RIGHTS THAT CANNOT BE WAIVED.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JOIN CAMERA AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE SIX MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100).

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Join Camera and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, or remove content, if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use creates risk or harm.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including provisions relating to User Content licenses, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory local consumer protections in your jurisdiction apply.

General Provisions

The following additional terms apply:

• Export: you must comply with applicable export control laws and may not use the Service in violation of those laws.
• Severability: if any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
• Assignment: we may assign these Terms; you may not assign them without our consent.
• No waiver: our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of that provision.
• Language: the English version of these Terms controls.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms at https://join.camera/terms and use reasonable efforts to notify you, such as by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
